The whole world economy is at the hands of few "businessmen" who are gambling billions of dollars to a "trust us - we will deliver" technology. AI investment is a speculation bubble ready to pop any time and to bring humanity in dispair like the 2007-08 crisis. AI should be transparent, with open data and free software, run by the people for the people, not for the profit of the few.
