The representative of the Flotilla in Turkey, Beheshti Ismail Sungur, announced preparations for a new mission to Gaza in the coming months with broader international participation and more ships, aiming to break the Israeli blockade.

He made the remarks during a meeting in Istanbul reviewing the previous mission, which was reportedly attacked by Israel while heading to Gaza, according to Anadolu Agency.

Sungur said Gaza residents need both aid and moral support, adding that diplomatic and legal steps are underway regarding the detention of activists from the last flotilla.

Breaking | Palestinian detainee Imad Rajeh Mustafa Sarhan (48 years old) from Haifa died this morning inside the high-security Israeli prison of Gilboa.

Sarhan, from the Wadi Nisnas neighborhood in Haifa, was abducted on 20 January 2002. He underwent interrogation for more than two months before being sentenced by an Israeli court to life imprisonment plus an additional ten years, and had spent over 24 years in Israeli prisons.
