Late at night, I thought of making soup to warm us. In the tents, even this simple wish becomes a fight damp wood, cold wind, and fear the fire dies before the pot boils.💔

The American Jewish Committee portrayed Lior Rudaeff as “a husband, father of four, ambulance driver, and volunteer medic,” framing him as an innocent civilian.

In reality, Rudaeff was neither a civilian nor a paramedic. The Israeli army confirmed he served as a Warrant Officer in the reserves, Deputy Security Coordinator, and a member of Nir Yitzhak’s rapid response team.

This morning, Israeli occupation forces forcibly expelled Palestinian woman Umm Zuhri Shweiki, an elderly woman, from her home in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan, occupied Jerusalem.

The forces surrounded the house, blocked access roads, seized the rooftop, and emptied the property of all contents before handing it over to extremist settlers, citing ownership claims dating back to 1881.

The eviction is part of a broader campaign led by the extremist settler group Ateret Cohanim, which claims 5 dunums and 200 square meters in Batn al-Hawa, threatening 87 Palestinian families with displacement. Footage shows a complete military siege as residents were prevented from approaching while settlers prepared to take over the home.
