Dr. Margaret Connolly, sister of Irish President Catherine Connolly, has been abducted by Israeli forces among activists on board the Global Sumud Flotilla bound for Gaza, along with six other Irish citizens, the Irish Independent report.

According to the Global Sumud Flotilla, Israeli forces boarded 40 vessels and abducted more than 300 activists, about 130 kilometres off the coast of Cyprus.
