On 21 April, will deport me – an citizen convicted of no crime – for standing with

"None of the charges have yet led to a court hearing, yet the letters conclude that we are a threat to public order and national security. There has been no legal process for this decision, and none of us have a criminal record. The reasoning in the letters continues with vague and unfounded accusations of “” and supporting “terrorist organisations” – referring to – as well as its supposed “front organisations in Germany and ”.

Since October 2023, the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees has unlawfully frozen the processing of all asylum seekers from Gaza. And on 16 April 2025 a federal administrative court in Germany will reportedly decide on a case that could set a precedent for the German state to mass deport Palestinian refugees.

...What we do know is that we are in the right, and however Germany decides to act now, we – hopefully with the international community alongside us – will act and fight accordingly. Standing up against the ongoing and calling for a free Palestine is the most important thing to do now. theguardian.com/commentisfree/

Welcome to , the capital of repression

On 28 March, the Zionist Jewish weekly Judische Allgemeine Zeitung happily announced that Tel Aviv would become Berlin's newest twin city, with all factions of the Berlin House of Representatives agreeing to the decision.

They do so even as large parts of the world are gradually distancing themselves from this regime.

Such a decision reflects common interests and values that supposedly bind the cities and their populations together.

And the ones on display in this partnership are telling: while one side commits , the other supports, promotes, and finances it; while one carries out ethnic cleansing, the other feigns ignorance; while one deliberately targets children, , and personnel, the other looks away and prattles on about while one starves a people to death, the other merely shrugs.

Trump appointed Tony Blair to his so-called “Board of Peace”. Blair, who was the British prime minister during the 2003 United States-led invasion and occupation of Iraq based on false claims over weapons of mass destruction, is regarded by many in the Arab world and in the United Kingdom as a “war criminal”.

Since leaving office, Blair has faced sustained criticism for his work through the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI), which has been accused of helping to launder the reputations of hardline regimes.

The institute has now been linked to Israel via its alleged involvement in plans for Gaza’s future. TBI was connected to a controversial private proposal which envisioned remaking Gaza into a commercial hub, described in planning documents as a “Trump Riviera”, according to the Financial Times.

The plan, backed by Israeli businessmen and supported by the Boston Consulting Group, included mechanisms that could incentivise the relocation of Palestinians from Gaza.

New York City could reinvest in Israeli government bonds, a move that would funnel public money directly into Israel’s treasury despite the Gaza genocide, even as Mamdani has publicly voiced support for divestment from Israel over its assault on Gaza.

New York City's pension funds are considering resuming investments in Israeli government bonds, a move that would channel public money into Israel’s treasury despite the ongoing war in Gaza.

The proposal, backed by the city’s chief financial officer Mark Levine, has put him at odds with Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who supports divestment over Israel’s conduct.

The investment amounts to direct funding for Israeli policies linked to settlement expansion, civilian casualties, and violations of international law.

Far-right Israeli minister Itamar Ben‑Gvir publicly backed war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu’s rejection of a proposed Gaza administration committee, calling instead for what he described as a “radical solution.” Ben‑Gvir dismissed any role for a civilian or administrative body in Gaza’s postwar management, arguing that reconstruction should not be discussed before what he called the removal of Hamas, while explicitly advocating large-scale forced displacement of Palestinians. He further urged Netanyahu to instruct the Israeli army to prepare for a full-scale resumption of the war, insisting this would align with Israel’s stated objective of eliminating Hamas.
