I had the honour of speaking with them during the last hour. Joy’s Internet connection is sadly offline as she’s moving house and so it was just me in the meetings. Thankfully, everyone spoke far better English than I do Arabic and we were able to manage. It never gets easy being shown the scenes of devastation in Gaza. You see it in the news but it hits differently through someone’s mobile phone.

I'm dreaming of my home that is now devastated. I'm dreaming of healthy food and clean water. I'm dreaming of sleeping peacefully.

The two years of suffering in Gaza made me forget how the normal life looks like.

Palestinian farmer Ayman Abu Elaya who was attacked yesterday by Israeli settlers during the olive harvest in Turmus Ayya:

⭕ I was beaten by settlers, my vehicle was destroyed, and the Israeli army detained me for over an hour when I tried to access my land in the nearby village of Turmus Ayya.

⭕ After being detained by the forces, the settlers continued to beat me, and I miraculously survived the assault.

⭕ For the past 15 years, we have been harvesting olives from my land in this area, and no previous orders to prevent us were issued by the Israeli occupation.

⭕ I lost my vehicle and olive crop in this attack, and my finger was broken.

This video and three segments cut from it are consistantly being taken down when anyone posts them to Youtube.

Settlers attack farmers, stone and club cars, and beat a woman nearly to death with a club. Youtube(Google) and Facebook do not want you to see this footage but they cannot control any server they don't own, such as this one
