📌 The demolition by Israeli authorities of the facilities of the 🔵 #UnitedNations Relief and Works Agency for #palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in #EastJerusalem constitutes a serious violation of Israel’s obligations as an occupying power
🔹 It reflects a deliberate #policy to undermine the United Nations, reduce its presence and role in the city, and impose new on-the-ground and administrative realities that entrench Israeli control

Israeli occupation authorities have prevented members of the Palestinian Committee for the Administration of Gaza from entering the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, despite the committee planning to begin its work this week as part of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.
The decision to block entry comes amid Israel’s refusal to open the crossing, despite US calls to do so as part of implementing the plan, which aims to establish a temporary administration of the territory through three main bodies, including a non-political Palestinian Technocrats Committee to manage civil affairs.
Sources confirmed that committee members still do not know when or how they will begin their work on the ground due to Israel’s refusal to allow their entry, while the Israeli cabinet has decided not to open the crossing at this time.
A polar air mass has swept across the Gaza Strip, exacerbating the suffering of two million Palestinians displaced by Israel’s genocidal war, amid warnings that severe cold could lead to deaths, particularly among children.
Haaretz, citing sources, reports that Israeli authorities are refusing to allow members of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza to enter the Strip. As a result, committee members say they do not know when or how they will be able to begin their work on the ground, despite plans to arrive this week.
