Breaking | Israel’s Supreme Court has rejected the appeal filed by Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya's lawyer against the extension of his detention, ruling that he will continue to be held under the Unlawful Combatants Law without any criminal charges being brought against him.

According to information provided to Physicians for Human Rights Israel (PHRI) by the lawyer, Attorney Nasser Odeh, Dr. Abu Safiya remains in solitary confinement in Nafha Prison under harsh detention conditions and continues to be denied necessary medical care despite his deteriorating health.

Last night, Israeli settler militias set fire to a mosque while worshippers were inside and torched several vehicles during a large-scale attack on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

According to eyewitnesses, one elderly worshipper was doused with gasoline by attackers, who attempted to set him on fire, but he escaped without being burned.
