US airstrikes on the Bemani area of Sirik County in southern Iran have destroyed key water infrastructure, leaving around 20,000 people without access to drinking water, according to Iranian reports.

Local authorities said two desalination plants and the city's main water reservoir were targeted and completely destroyed in the attack. The strikes reportedly crippled the area's water supply system, raising concerns over the impact on civilians and access to essential services.
